Yours for $200,000 - A Lab Grown Diamond Machine

(IDEX Online) - A Chinese company is selling lab grown diamond machines on e-commerce site Alibaba for just $200,000.
The 44-ton machine uses HPHT (high pressure high temperature) technology, rather than the more modern and sophisticated CVD (chemical vapor deposition).
It requires diamond seed crystals to start the growth process, plus high-quality graphite, iron or cobalt catalysts, and precise temperature and pressure control systems.
The HPHT press also needs considerable expertise to manage the process and create gem quality stones.
It's advertised as "HPHT Cubic Press Synthetic Diamond Making Machine for lab grown diamond", made by Henan Huanghe Whirlwind International, priced at $200,000 each (plus shipping) or $190,000 for purchases of 10 or more.
