Kardashian to Testify in $10m Jewel Trial

(IDEX Online) - Kim Kardashian is to give evidence next week at the trial of 10 men accused of tying her up and holding her at gunpoint in Paris in 2016, and stealing jewelry worth over $10m.
The billionaire TV reality star, entrepreneur and socialite, aged 44, was allegedly targeted by a gang of 12 men disguised as police officers.
Among the items stolen was an18.88-carat diamond engagement ring, valued at $4m and given to her by then-husband rapper Kanye West.
Kardashian (pictured) recounted her traumatic experience in a 2017 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, detailing how she managed to free herself from plastic ties and scream for help from the balcony of an apartment where she was staying for Paris Fashion Week.
At the time she routinely posted details of her daily activities, which may have helped the perpetrators.
Kardashian will testify in person at the trial, which starts in Paris next Monday (28 April) and which is expected to last almost a month.
