(in association with jacobrivlin.com) - We are proud to introduce our second Special Sale of large and fancy color diamonds, organized by Jacob Rivlin.com and IDEX Online.
We have selected commercially attractive stones that represent a fair quality-to-price balance. The final list of stones is offered to more than 70,000 subscribers of IDEX Online. Some of the stones will go for special research by HRD laboratory, led by its global head of research, Marleen Bouman.
We are offering fancy color diamonds and high-value larger white goods.
Our Special Sales present fancy color diamonds with a minimum total value of $20,000, as well as layouts and parcels that combine several stones with one price (with a similar total value). For white diamonds, we try to focus on $50,000 total value and up.
Sellers are not required to ship goods to us, as long as they commit to 'close' the offered goods in an option for at least three weeks - one week before the Sale begins, and two weeks after.
The Special Sale is not an auction. We offer the diamonds during two weeks from the release of the IDEX Online Newsletter, but we may (at our discretion) conclude a sale earlier, if the seller and buyer are satisfied with the terms of the deal.
Diamond Details
Some sellers provide their diamonds with limited information, for example the fancy red 0.36ct. In such cases we give our own gemological opinion. This particular stone has no clarity on its GIA certificate, so we give our opinion.
"No Competition"
We try to avoid 'competition' among stones offered in a single Sale. So we won't offer diamonds with same size category and similar qualities. For example, if we have two yellow 5cts, we will choose either the cushion or the oval vivid - not both at the same sale. On the other hand, when it comes to fancy colors, we might take both a cushion and a round stone with similar size and quality, as the round shape is rarer and will fetch a higher price.
