After the Swift Ring, it's the Swift Watch

September 01, 25 by John Jeffay

(IDEX Online) - After the flurry of speculation about Taylor Swift's engagement ring, the media has switched focus, to her watch.

It's a gold Cartier Santos Demoiselle, set with small diamonds on the yellow gold bezel and crown.

Cartier no longer produces the model she wears, but it's available on the secondary market for around $17,000.

The size and spec of diamonds varies between models.

The Cartier Santos Demoiselle was launched in 1978 as a ladies' version of the Cartier Santos, created in 1904 by Louis Cartier for his friend, the Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. Demoiselle was the name of his plane.

Swift and the NFL footballer Travis Kelce, both 35, announced their engagement last week. He gave her an old mine brilliant cut diamond, reckoned to be 8 to 10 carats.
