Inter Gems-Claes changes name to IGC Group

Belgian DTC Sightholder and diamond manufacturer Inter Gems-Claes has changed its corporate name to ‘IGC Group’.

“This name change to IGC Group is a logical step in our goal to further improve the visibility of our organization,” said Group CEO, Luc Claes.

“Our clients and partners will recognize that they are part of the IGC Group, an international company with sales offices in Antwerp, New York and Hong Kong.”

This year the IGC Group celebrates its 50th year as a DTC Sightholder, making it one of the oldest Sightholders. The Group has been manufacturing diamonds for jewelry brand houses worldwide for a century.

Recently the group opened an office in Hong Kong and introduced a new diamond cut, Exire, in sizes of 1 – 3.7 mm, LC – VVS2 / D – J.
