Management Changes at Rosy Blue Israel

September 14, 08 by IDEX Online Staff Reporter

At the end of September, Dilip Shah will be leaving Rosy Blue Israel to pursue other opportunities in the diamond industry, the company announced on Friday. He will be replaced by Vishal Mehta, a second generation family member who is currently running Rosy Blue South Africa.

Vishal Mehta will be leading the Israeli operation with Amish Mehta.

The diamond giant said it is its intention to re-position Rosy Blue Israel as the distribution hub for fancy shaped polished diamonds, which will include both Russian and South African polished diamonds. “By doing so, the company will create economies of scale and establish necessary product synergies,” it said in a statement. These changes stem from the Rosy Blue group strategy of customer-focus and the need to quickly adapt to changes within the industry.

The new management team will include Anish Parikh, Asaf Magazanic, Aditya Shah and Steve Putterman.

“Although Rosy Blue and Dilip Shah will continue to maintain a close relationship, we would like to take this opportunity to wish him all the best for the future. Rosy Blue thanks him for all the years of dedication and energy he has put into building up the Israel business along with Amish Mehta,” the DTC Sightholder said.

Vishal Mehta will continue to run the South African operations. Both Vishal and Amish Mehta will be spending part of their time in Israel.
