Page 3 - Now in Diamonds

Young women seeking new places to shop for branded diamond jewelry and watches have a surprising new venue - the British Page 3. The recently launched Page 3 Diamonds hopes to enjoy traffic from the self proclaimed cheeky brand, famous for its topless models.

 

The Page 3 diamond silver and diamond jewelry range includes earrings, pendants, bracelets and four diamond set watches. Prices range from £25  to £100 ($36-$145) for most jewelry items, watches are sold for £50- £100 ($72-$145) and solitaires set with 0.3 carat to 0.5 carat diamonds run for £700-£1,000 ($1,014-$1,449).

 

The diamonds are I-J color, I1-I2 clarity diamonds, accompanied by a WGI certificate. The line is designed and produced by UK based United Jewellery Trading Ltd. (UJT).

 

According to Mark Saunders, who is responsible for UJT’s business development, the brand’s target audience is 17-25 year-old working women that that identify with the Sun’s Page 3 models.

 

A recent survey of 1,000 Sun readers found that, 28 percent of respondents would rather buy Page 3 jewelry than Playboy jewelry. The UK jewelry market is estimated at £2.8 billion ($4.056 billion) per year

 

“Considering the Sun reaches over 8.5 million people a day, we expect the Page 3 Diamonds collection to do extremely well,” said Gareth Beaty, director of the Page 3 licensing program.

 

The Page 3 Diamond jewelry is available online at www.Page3diamonds.com and at 90 branches of Harvey and Thompson.
