Tahera Applies for Delisting
February 08, 09
Tahera Diamond Corporation has applied for the voluntary suspension of the trading of its common shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).
The company that developed and operated Canada’s third diamond mine Jericho in Nunavut said Friday that it has determined that any plan of restructuring or liquidation of the company would not result in any return for holders of Tahera's common shares.
Accordingly, Tahera's chief restructuring officer, with the approval of the monitor appointed under Tahera's CCAA proceedings, has determined that Tahera's common shares should be suspended from trading on the TSX for the time being.
