Former Rolex Executive to Head Sun Gems Int’l

Scott Sedlacek will be the head of Sun Gems International, the independent marketing division of HRA, according to an announcement by the company.

Sedlacek comes to Sun Gems from Rolex, where he oversaw the brand’s growth throughout the western United States. In his new role, he will be responsible for all of Sun Gems’ operations, including sales, marketing, strategy and business development.

“We are delighted to have Scott join our Group.  He brings with him thirty years of experience in our industry.  We look forward to the development and growth of Sun Gems under his management,” said HRA President Uri Ariel.

Sun Gems services independent jewelers in Canada and the U.S. The HRA Group, founded in Vancouver in 1982, is a Diamond Trading Company (DTC) Sightholder and the largest manufacturer and distributor of branded Canadian diamonds in the world.
