Malca-Amit and Fedex Launch new Secure Shipping Service

(IDEX Online News) – Malca-Amit and Fedex announced a co-operative program, Malca-Amit Express Europe, planned to provide a cost-effective and secure solution for the rapid delivery of shipments within Europe on both a ‘one-way’ and ‘return-to-sender’ basis.

If the consignee of a parcel sent by Malca-Amit Express Europe decides to return any or all of the goods they receive, then the original shipper, by asking them to return the package using the same Malca-Amit Express Europe, is guaranteed peace of mind that their parcel will be returned to them through the same professional, rapid, secure and fully-insured policy provided by Malca-Amit, the sides said in a release.

“By introducing this service, we’re delivering absolute peace of mind to companies that deal with precious goods which are sent and returned within Europe,” said Nir Matalon, general manager of Malca-Amit Antwerp.

According to Matalon, Prior to this service, companies had no guarantee that the return of their goods would be sent an insured and secured manner. This had led to the situation where if a parcel was lost or misplaced, the original shipper was responsible for covering the cost of the loss.
