Graff Updates 1970 Ad With New $500M Version

(IDEX Online News) – Having first come up with the Graff Diamonds ''$1 million jeweled hair'' campaign in 1970 as the first stage in launching his brand globally, British jeweler Laurence Graff has gone 500 stages further with a ''Half Billion Dollar Hair & Jewel'' advertisement.

The Graff Diamonds advertisement features a model wearing $500 million worth of exceptional diamond jewelry in her hair in a specially made video. The jewelry firms said the advertisement also aims to celebrate Graff's 60^th year in the diamond jewelry business and the opening of his 40^th store.

The latest advertisement features brooches, rings, pendants, bracelets and earrings. These include Graff's Sweethearts earrings featuring a 51.53-carat diamond and a 50.76-carat stone, both D color flawless type IIA heart shape diamonds.

There is also a selection of jewelry created from the 550 carat Letšeng Star diamond, the 14th largest white rough diamond ever discovered from the Letšeng mine in Lesotho.

In addition, there is a 10.47-carat fancy vivid blue internally flawless briolette diamond pendant, a 52.73-carat fancy vivid yellow emerald cut diamond ring, and a 6.51-carat fancy intense pink internally flawless oval cut diamond ring.
