SRK Founder Celebrates 50 Years In Business

(IDEX Online News) – Diamond manufacturer Shree Ramkrishna Export (SRK) recently celebrated the half century anniversary of the entry of its founder, Govind Dholakia, in the diamond business. The auspicious event was celebrated in the presence of associates of Shree Ramkrishna Exports, as well as other guests from around the world.

The anniversary was celebrated with more than 1,500 guests at an event that acknowledged both the work of Mr. Dholakia and of SRK. The evening was hosted by Bollywood actor Boman Irani and included a series of presentations focusing on the past history of SRK, as well as the future of the company.

To commemorate the occasion, a book covering the life and achievements of Mr. Dholakia, Nothing to Everything – a Divine Journey, was launched.

To further mark the anniversary, Dholakia announced the establishment of the SRK Knowledge Foundation as a tribute to the city of Surat. The Foundation will disseminate and spread education about diamonds.
