Real Madrid’s Benzema Reportedly Spends $250,000 on Diamond Soccer Ball

(IDEX Online News) – French international soccer star Karim Benzema, who currently plays in the Spanish league for Real Madrid, has allegedly spent $250,000 on a custom-made soccer ball.

Sports website the Bleacher Report says that the ball is encrusted with 72,000 colored diamonds with a total weight of 1,250 carats.

Benzema ordered the ball from New-York based celebrity jewelers Dimitry Shimanov (a.k.a. Dave Bling) and Will Selby (a.k.a. Will Da Boss) of DWS Jewelry & Co. Bling said that the piece will be a “definite conversation starter when company arrives.”
