May 17, 17 by Albert Robinson

(IDEX Online) – British diamond jeweler Graff Diamonds has bought a 373.72-carat rough diamond from Botswana’s Karowe mine which was part of the Lesedi la Rona, the largest gem discovered in the last century.

The diamond, classified as a D-color, is now being studied by Graff Diamonds' experts ahead of cutting and polishing the stone.

Last year, Graff Diamonds, unveiled the 118.78-carat Venus, the largest heart-shaped diamond in the world which was cut from a 375-carat rough diamond.
