Tattoo Artist's Hublot Watch - with 180 Black Diamonds

(IDEX Online) - Hublot has launched its latest collaboration with tattoo artist Maxime Plescia-Buchi - an all-black watch set with 180 black diamonds (2.4 carats approx.).
The Spirit of Big Bang Sang Bleu All Black Pavé comes as a limited edition of 200, priced at $51,000.
Hublot, the Swiss watchmaker, has worked with Plescia-Buchi (also from Switzerland) since 2016, incorporating his tattoo art into high-end timepieces, pushing the boundaries in watch design.
The watch is part of Hublot's Spirit of Big Bang collection (with a barrel-shaped rather than a round case) and is made of polished black ceramic.
Sang Bleu is the name of Plescia-Buchi's media platform and creative agency (he's also a graphic designer and creative director). All Black Pavé refers to the all-black design and the pave diamonds.
The watch's case is set with 80 black diamonds and the bezel with 100.
The watch is debuting in China, before being released in other markets.
