Rio Tinto Diamond Management Visits Clients in Gujarat

A Rio Tinto Diamonds delegation called on several clients in the Indian State of Gujarat. The delegation visited local centers in Surat and Bhavnagar and was led by Rio Tinto Diamonds Managing Director Bruce Cox.

The Indian diamond industry’s manufacturing is concentrated in Surat.

Cox made clear that Rio Tinto Diamonds’ future is linked to the Indian manufacturing sector, saying that "We are committed to working together on regional initiatives that will ensure profitable growth for our customers and our customers’ customers.”

In addition to the delegation visiting Gujarat, Jean Marc Lieberherr, general manager marketing of Rio Tinto Diamonds was present at the recent IIJS show in Mumbai.
