Reward Offered for Stolen Harry Winston Jewelry

October 24, 07 by IDEX Online Staff Reporter

A €352,000 ($0.5 million) reward is being offered for the return of jewelry stolen from a Harry Winston store earlier this month in Paris.

The armed robbery took place October 6, when three people entered the high-end jewelry store. It is the largest jewelry theft in France since two diamonds worth 11.5 million euros were stolen from Chopard on the Louvre Museum grounds during an antiques show in 2004.

The Louvre heist was the biggest in 25 years.

Information about the reward was published together with photographs of the four stolen watches, two pairs of earrings and three rings.
