Once Again, Leviev’s LLD Tops Israel’s Exporters List

The list, comprising of the top polished diamond exporters, is published annually and includes firms that were willing to disclose their names. According to Diamond Controller Shmuel Mordechai, who collected the data, 15 companies asked to not be mentioned, and so the list reflects 30 of the 45 biggest polished diamond exporters.

L.L.D. has seen its polished diamond exports from Israel shrink over the years, falling from $601 million in 2005 to $553 million in 2006 and $522 million last year. However, this may reflect an increasing shift of manufacturing to other countries, including sorting and sales from those countries.
