India’s Net Polished Diamond Exports $436.6M

Polished diamond exports in June declined by 27.4 percent to $1.077 billion, on a volume of 3.97 million carats, according to data published Thursday by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).
Imports sagged to $640.45 million on shipments of 3.068 million carats, a 16.7 percent decline in value while rising 5.4 percent in volume.
Total polished diamond trade was $1.72 billion, while net exports stood at $436.55 million.
