Fatality at De Beers Namibian Operation

(IDEX Online News) - A Namdeb employee was killed Friday when a silo truck he was driving overturned between Pocket Beaches and Oranjemund in Namibia, the company said. Namdeb halted production and a detailed internal investigation is underway.
Theophilus Makili was a fixed-term contractor who was working as a multi-skilled operator at Namdeb.
