Registration Opens for 8th Annual WDC Meeting

(IDEX Online News) – Registration has begun for the 8th annual meeting of the World Diamond Council, which will take place May 13-14, 2012, in the northern Italian jewelry center of Vicenza.

Participants are invited to register online here.

Registration online will enable hotel accommodation booking in Abano Terme, a resort town located between Vicenza and Venice which is one of Europe's most popular spa resorts.

There is no registration fee, and the official hotels are offering participants a special package, which can be extended both before and after the event.

The first day of the annual meeting, May 13, will include a WDC board meeting and a get-together reception in the evening. The second day, May 14, will include the WDC Plenary session, concluding with a gala dinner.

Hosting the WDC annual meeting is Fiera di Vicenza, one of the world's most important trade fair organizers. The meeting will be an anchor event of the World Jewellery Forum, which will take place in Vicenza from May 13-23.
