De Beers LV Releases Bridal App

(IDEX Online News) – De Beers Diamond Jewellers, the retail venture of diamond miner De Beers and retailer LVMH, launched its new bridal iPad and iPhone app, the company announced.

The app is available in five different languages and aims to help brides select a diamond ring, typically an engagement ring as well as matching wedding bands and complimentary wedding day jewelry.  

Francois Delage, CEO De Beers Diamond Jewellers, said the app brings their engagement rings and bridal jewelry to light "with beautiful images and bespoke content from diamond jewelry experts."

"We see it as the definitive diamond wedding jewelry information resource, expressing our role as the diamond mentor for consumers.”

The application also offers an insight into the design and craftsmanship of De Beers. One of its functions is to help find the nearest store location and arrange an appointment.
