Birks & Mayors to Accept Asian Credit Cards

(IDEX Online News) – Birks & Mayors Inc. is making it easier for visitors from Asia to purchase jewelry in the United States and China. The fine jewelry retailer recently announced it will accept credit cards from China and Korea as a form of payment.

The retailer has added China's Union Pay credit card, Korea's BC credit card and JCB, Diner's Club and Discover credit cards, which are popular credit cards among Asian consumers, to its list of accepted payment types.

"We are thrilled to offer our Asian consumers additional options when it comes to forms of payment in our stores," said Birks & Mayors president and CEO, Jean-Christophe Bedos. "We are seeing more and more visitors from China, Korea and other Asian countries shop in our stores, and it was natural for us to offer them a more pleasant and convenient shopping experience."

Birks & Mayors operates 58 luxury jewelry stores in Canada and the U.S.
