IDEX Online to Hold Seminar on Diamond Prices at IJL London

(IDEX Online News) – IDEX Online’s editor-in-chief, Edahn Golan, will hold a seminar entitled Polished Diamond Prices, The Forces Shaping Them and How to Use This to Buy Better at International Jewllery London 2012 (IJL).

During the seminar, to be held on September 4, Golan will show how different forces – internal and external – influence the price of diamonds and how traders can benefit from price fluctuations.

In his presentation, Golan will show that beyond global and local economic factors, a number of surprising external forces also influence prices. For example, natural disasters are an unexpected and important external factor, together with marketing and cultural trends. As an internal factor, he will show, for example, how expectations from trade shows drive prices.

The presentation is part of IJL’s extensive seminar program offered throughout the show.
