Forevermark Unveils ‘Promise’ Jewelry Collection in Mumbai

(IDEX Online News) - Forevermark, the diamond brand from De Beers, unveiled the Forevermark Promise Exhibition in Mumbai recently. It featured a collection of jewelry designed with Forevermark branded diamonds, each piece centered on a pledge.

The jewelry, from the UK, the U.S., China, Hong Kong and India, was diverse in style, ranging from delicate, romantic notions through to more challenging and progressive concepts.

The designers included Shaun Leane, Rachel Roy, Stephen Webster, Reena Ahluwalia, Biren Vaidya and Tang Wei.

Canada-based Indian designer Ahluwalia’s ‘Eternal’ necklace, fabricated by Vummidi Banguru Jewellers, was inspired by eternal love. She pledged to support and work with responsibly sourced diamonds.

U.S. fashion designer Rachel Roy promised to never stop striving to make the world a better place for her children and for women and children who do not have a voice to speak for themselves.

Vaidya of The Rose International, promised to care, love and be there forever for family and friends. UK-based Leane promised to live to love, to share and appreciate the present.

London-based Webster made a very personal promise to always keep exciting people through the creativity and progressive nature of his jewelry design.

The exhibition was Chinese actress Tang’s first foray into jewelry design. She promised to take up new challenges, broaden her vision and experience and to bring a sense of hopeful warmth to those in need.
