Hearts On Fire Announces Support for Boston

(IDEX Online News) – Boston based Hearts On Fire announced plans to donate $500,000 to the city after the tragic terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon last week.

The diamond jewelry firm decided to make an initial $100,000 donation to The One Fun Boston, the charity created by our Governor and Mayor to serve as the central fund to help those whose lives have been most affected.

Through online sales at heartsonfire.com, the company hopes to donate up to $500,000. From April 23 through May 31, 100 percent of all proceeds from sales on the site (excluding sales tax) will be donated to the fund.

“We are not trying to profit in any way from this initiative,” the company said in a release, “but simply want to spread the word and hopefully raise as much money as possible for The One Fund.”

“As you also know, we already had a Copley Collection (launched in 2012) that was inspired by our beautiful city. We have just released a Copley Love Pendant to symbolize the strength and pride of Boston, which will be available in retail locations as well as online, with all proceeds also going to The One Fund during this time period.”
