Magic Johnson to Headline AGS Conclave

(IDEX Online News) – The American Gem Society (AGS) has announced that former-NBA champion Magic Johnson will be the keynote speaker at its 2014 Conclave. 2014 also marks the 80th anniversary of AGS.
 

He will speak about leadership and teamwork, as well as his passion for business and philanthropy in his speech, “the Magic of Winning.”

“A legendary event in the jewelry industry deserves a legend for a keynote,” said John Carter, chair of the Society’s Conclave Sub-Committee. “Who better than Magic Johnson? We are excited and honored to have him present at Conclave.”

The theme of the event is “Be Different. Be Distinctive. Be Here.”

Conclave 2014 will be held at the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, California from April 23-26.
