DDC Expects More Than 100 IDE Firms at Israel Diamond Week

(IDEX Online News) – New York Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) President Reuven Kaufman said the exchange will host more than 100 companies from the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) at the second edition of the Israel Diamond Week from November 11-14.
Israel Diamond Week 2013 is a follow-up to the similar event held at the DDC in December 2012, and which led to the US/International Diamond Weeks in Israel in March and August of this year.
According to Kaufman, the Israel diamond week will provide members of the DDC and the IDE with "unique opportunities to do business and network. It will benefit members of both Bourses as well as the entire industry.”
Meanwhile, IDE President Yair Sahar noted, “When we meet again on the DDC trading floor we do so knowing that these events are good for business and that they also enhance relationships between DDC and IDE members. I wish to pay tribute to DDC President Kaufman for his support, and for bringing business back to the trading floor.”
Kaufman added that in addition to welcoming more than 100 prominent Israeli companies, the buyers week will include related events, such as key speakers on the state of the industry as well as recognize the achievements of notable industry leaders.
