Ring Set With Pink Argyle Diamond Stolen From Sydney Auctioneer

September 29, 14 by Albert Robinson

(IDEX Online News)
– A ring, set with a pink Argyle diamond and a white stone, worth close to $600,000 has been stolen from a Sydney auction house.

The ring was snatched from a display counter at Theodore Bruce Auctions and Valuers in Alexandria on Saturday.

Around 100 people were in the premises when the ring was stolen, police said, adding that they had not been able to receive CCTV footage which would help their investigation.

The diamonds are reportedly laser-inscribed with a serial number.
