Kiran Gems Contributes to Female Education Program

(IDEX Online News) – Diamond manufacturer Kiran Gems Pvt Ltd. has partnered with the Smile Foundation to provide quality education to underprivileged children through the Mission Education program.

In the initial stages of the partnership, Kiran will support the educational and nutritional needs of 100 girls across India for the academic year.

In a press release, the company explained the importance of supporting such an initiative by emphasizing the fact that girls are likely to be the first ones affected when a family is in difficult circumstances. More positively, female education has a very meaningful impact on helping to change a family’s economic reality.

“It is our small start towards addressing the ‘female education program’ at the pan-India Level with the Smile foundation. We look forward to support more candidates under the ambit of this program in the future,” said Kiran director Dinesh Lakhani.
