Richline Announces May is Gold Month 2012

(IDEX Online News) – Once again, May will be golden with Richline Group’s May is Gold Month 2012. The national retail promotion, which was first launched in 2004, unites leading U.S. retailers across a common campaign platform with the aim of increasing consumer sales of gold jewelry.

 

To promote gold, an aggressive online campaign, targeting more than 25 million consumers will be launched later this month. The campaign encourages consumers to enter to win their favorite gold jewelry design in the May is Gold Month online Sweepstakes. Additionally, consumers will be directed to visit participating stores for special promotions, offers and new merchandise selections.

 

Participating retailers include fine jewelry stores Ben Bridge, Kay’s, Jared and Fred Meyer, department stores JC Penney, Macy’s and Sears, mass retail stores K-Mart, Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club, broadcast retailers QVC and HSN and online retailer Amazon.com.

 

Participating retailers will offer many new gold jewelry selections designed for spring and summer fashions, as well as various special offers and promotions.

 

“We are delighted with the retailer participation and support, and we believe this promotion benefits the entire jewelry industry,” said Mark Hanna, Richline’s marketing officer. “The combination of web plus in-store and on-air marketing will influence millions of consumers to deliver the message of gold’s continuing relevance and will encourage consumers to visit their favorite place to shop with gold foremost on their list.”
