Rubel & Menasche Joins DEF’s New Diamonds for Good Members

(IDEX Online News) – Rubel & Menasche, part of the Dali Diamond Group, based in Paris and a supplier of specialty high-end small goods, has joined the Diamond Empowerment Fund’s (DEF) Diamonds for Good Membership Program.

The program aims to highlight a company's commitment to giving back and supporting DEF’s mission of empowerment through education in diamond-producing nations.

“We believe in supporting programs which impact communities where our most precious gems originate” said Elodie Daguzan, head of Communications for Rubel & Ménasché.

Retailers Gleim The Jeweler and Smithworks Fine Jewelry also recently signed on to the program.

Studies have shown that more than 80-percent of consumers care that the companies they do business with give back to the community in some way, DEF says. “The Diamonds for Good program allows participating companies to easily and visibly demonstrate their commitment to giving back through the support of DEF,” said Phyllis Bergman, DEF board president.

DEF will be at JCK Las Vegas, booth L-11. The organization’s presentation “Doing Good is Good Business” will be given on Friday, May 31 from 11:30-12:30 in Tradewinds EF.
