Diamonds Dominate as Stars Shine at Grammys

Diamonds dominated as the music industry's biggest stars turned up for its most glittering night of the year - the 46th annual Grammy Awards. Among a show-stopping array of diamonds, the most dominant fashions were diamond right-hand rings, diamond studs and diamond chain necklaces.

Continuing a trend seen at the Golden Globes ceremony last month, the diamond right-hand ring was worn by Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Queen Latifah, Madonna, Ashanti, Sharon Osbourne, Patti LaBelle, Faith Hill and Mary J. Blige.

 

From sweet to sassy, artists such as Hilary Duff, Kylie Minogue, Sarah Jessica Parker, Queen Latifah and Gwen Stefani had their diamond studs in.

 

Christina Aguilera accepted her award wearing layered diamond chains. From pop star Kelly Clarkson to pop icon Madonna, diamond chains were prominently displayed throughout the evening.

 

Among the outstanding diamond jewelry pieces seen were: Beyonce with a 50-carat diamond right-hand ring by Lorraine Schwartz and diamond line earrings while Ashanti wore diamond dangle earrings, diamond right-hand ring and a diamond bracelet.

Christina Aguilera wore diamond chain necklaces and diamond studs by XIV Karat, and Courtney Love had a diamond necklace, square cut diamond ring and diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.

 

Actress Ellen DeGeneres wore a custom-made diamond "E" necklace by Neil Lane, and Hilary Duff wore diamond stud earrings.

 

Faith Hill wore a diamond right-hand ring, rose cut long diamond line earrings and diamond deco bracelet by Lorraine Schwartz.

 

Gwen Stefani wore an antique diamond brooch, three-row diamond bracelet, heart-shaped diamond stud earrings, heart shaped diamond right-hand ring and a custom-made diamond lamb brooch by Lorraine Schwartz.

Lil' Kim was wearing a diamond watch designed by Lil' Kim and made by Jacob the Jeweler, while Jennifer Love Hewitt showed off diamond stud earrings by Erica Courtney.

 

Kelly Osbourne wore diamond chandelier earrings by Neil Lane while her mother Sharon Osbourne had a diamond right-hand ring by Neil Lane, while Kylie Minogue wore a two-row diamond 1930's necklace and diamond studs by Bulgari.

 

Madonna was sparkling in a diamond chain necklace, diamond mesh bracelet, diamond bangle and diamond pendant earrings by Neil Lane, while Mary J. Blige wore diamond drop earrings and a diamond right-hand ring by Lorraine Schwartz.

 

Queen Latifah wore diamond studs, a diamond necklace and a pair of diamond clips and diamond right-hand ring by Neil Lane, while Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker had on a 1930's diamond clip, diamond stud earrings and diamond cuff bracelet by Fred Leighton.
