India’s D’damas Teams up with Indian Film Academy Awards

Indian diamond and gold jewelry exporter D’damas announced its association with the awards of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) will continue this year and host the June 11 ‘Grand Red Carpet’ before the awards ceremony.
IIFA Awards 2005 will open tomorrow (Thursday) in Amsterdam and close on Saturday.
D’damas, part of the Gitanjali group, held a press conference in Mumbai earlier this week announcing the continued support of the IIFA Awards, throwing a fashion show with models displaying the diamond and gold collections from the house of D’damas.
Each guest of the ceremony will have a chance to win the Damas Soltaire, a signature jewelry line by IIFA brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan. D’damas will also host a Bollywood celebrity cricket match to benefit the IIFA Foundation.
The cricket match will pitch actors Shahrukh Khan against Hrithik Roshan to exchange blows and settle the scores.
