Armenian Exports of Polished Goods to Belgium in Q1 Jump 87 Percent

(IDEX Online News) – Armenian polished diamond exports to Belgium soared 87 percent on the year in the first quarter of 2013 to 27,700 carats with a value of almost $10 million.

The country's other main buyers in the first quarter were China and Russia which bought 17,000 and 19,300 carats, respectively, according to the Armenpress news service.

In total, Armenia exported 67,300 carats in the firth three months of this year with a value of $24.4 million.
