“Made in Italy” Jewelry Launches at IIJS

(IDEX Online News) – Italian jewelry and innovative Italian goldsmithing technology will be on display at the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS), which kicks off in Mumbai today. The event will showcase the VICENZAORO Italian Club, a traveling exhibition created by Fiera di Vicenza to promote “Made in Italy” jewelry.

As well as jewelry, Fiera di Vicenza is also drawing attention to VICENZAORO T-GOLD International, an opportunity to introduce a wide range of Italian equipment, innovation and high tech, to jewelry manufacturers from all over the world.

According to Fierea di Vicenza, IIJS has tremendous potential for Italian companies. India – along with China – ranks among the world’s top gold consumers, accounting for approximately 20 percent of global demand.

IIJS runs until August 12 at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre.
