Tiffany to Open Store in Tucson, Arizona

Tiffany & Co. announced plans Monday to open a store in Tucson, Arizona, in fall 2006. The approximately 4,000 gross-square-foot store will open at La Encantada, a retail center.

“Tucson, and La Encantada specifically, is a perfect location for us,” said Beth O. Canavan, executive vice president of Tiffany & Co. "The center is designed in the traditional mission style with indigenous materials and surrounded by the desert's natural beauty, which reflects Tiffany's own design heritage that is rooted in the American landscape.”

Last week Tiffany announced plans to open a store in Nashville, Tennessee, in summer 2006. The approximately 4,500 gross-square-foot store will open in The Mall at Green Hills.

The new store will sell an array of Tiffany & Co. goods, from engagement diamonds and jewels in platinum and eighteen-karat gold settings; fashion jewelry and watches, including the classic Tiffany Mark(TM); the signature designs of Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso and Jean Schlumberger; as well as accessories, china and crystal gifts.
