September 25, 06
Fine jewelry manufacturer Andin International announced that it recently received top supplier honors from two of its national retail partners: JC Penney’s ‘Fine Jewelry Division Supplier of the Year’ and the ‘2005 Partners In Progress Award’ from Sears.
“To have the privilege of working closely with these extraordinary national retail companies and then be recognized for making a difference in their businesses is truly gratifying,” said Jewelry.com Chairman Ofer Azrielant, who founded Andin in 1981.
Andin is the parent company of Jewelry.com, the top visited website for jewelry information.
The JCPenney Fine Jewelry Division Supplier of the Year was given to Andin for “excellence in 2005,” said Beryl Raff, executive vice president, general merchandise manager, jewelry.
“Your innovative and timely designs, combined with aggressive pricing and strong service levels, allowed us to deliver on our company’s brand promise of offering exceptional value and trend-right fashion merchandise,” said Raff. “You truly understand the importance of partnering with the retailer, and you understand the needs and desire of the moderate consumer in terms of both price point and look.”
The Sears Partners In Progress Award was presented to Azrielant by Aylwin B. Lewis, CEO and President of Sears. “Andin and its Jewelry.com division are recognized for their efforts to advance our mutual commitment to becoming truly customer-driven,” said Lewis.
The Sears Award is presented annually to a select group of supplier companies. Less than one percent of Sears Holdings’ more than 40,000 suppliers earn the coveted award each year.
Andin International is one of the largest manufacturers of fine jewelry in the United States, producing thousands of styles each year in a variety of categories - 10kt, 14kt and 18kt gold. The group features jewelry set with diamonds, precious and semi-precious stones. The company was founded in 1981 by Ofer Azrielant.
Jewelry.com is a marketing platform that connects jewelry consumers with jewelry retailers, drawing over 2.5 million visitors per month.
