DiamonEx Announces Botswana Marketing Agreement

Australian diamond miner DiamonEx announced the finalization of a marketing agreement with London-based valuation and marketing company WWW International Diamond Consultants.

DiamonEx is in the final stages of taking its Botswana diamond mine into commercial production. This is the first time a rough diamond marketing agreement has been signed in Botswana outside of De Beers.

The announcement comes just after news of the mining company’s completion of arrangements for final funding of the Lerala diamond mine, a site expected to produce around 330,000 carats a year.
