The Instore Show has formed a show advisory board, composed of vendors and retailers, to help guide the event’s development. The group will meet for the first time in
Vendor members of the board include Laura Klemt of Artistry Ltd, Steve Binder of Aurafin, Barry Sullivan of Camelot Bridal, Rhonda Edelman and Mindy Fielman of Hearts On Fire, Phyllis Bergman of Mercury Ring and Chuck Lein of Stuller.
Retail members of the board include Joe Pankratz of Avenue Jewelers (Appleton, WI), Cathy Calhoun of Calhoun Jewelers (Royersford, PA), Mark and Monika Clodius of Clodius & Co. (Rockford, IL), James Pesis of Continental Diamond (Minneapolis, MN), Vicki Cunningham of Cunningham Fine Jewelry (Tulsa, OK) and Lee Krombholz of Krombholz Jewelers (Cincinnati, OH).
In addition to the show advisory board, the event's organizers have recruited an online panel of more than 80 retailers who are helping to contribute ideas and insights as the show takes shape. The group has been participating in online surveys and questionnaires since January.
“In order for us to make this event more valuable to the industry, we need to listen to the people who are involved in it every day”, said Jim Reed, director of The Instore Show. “The manufacturers and retailers we have assembled have the perfect combination of industry experience and innovative thinking that will add a lot of value to our plans for The Instore Show.”
