AWDC Organizes ‘Confidence in Challenging Times’ Symposium

The Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) will hold an international diamond symposium in Antwerp on November 17 that will focus on the impact of the worldwide financial crisis on the diamond industry.

Entitled, ‘Confidence in Challenging times’, the symposium will be addressed by industry stakeholders, including mining companies, banks, key industry players, diamond company representatives, retailers and marketing experts.

The symposium will be open to all interested diamond professionals. AWDC will invite all parties to share their views on the future of the entire diamond pipeline.

“It is important that Antwerp takes the leadership in organizing an open forum to discuss the current developments on the international diamond scene,” said Philip Claes, AWDC chief officer of corporate affairs

The symposium is planned to be held at the Antwerp Province House.
