Dubai International Jewellery Week Opens

Dubai International Jewellery Week opened on Tuesday. The three show event hosts thousands of private buyers, traders, exhibitors and retailers, mostly from the Gulf region.

The event, which runs until November 15, comprises of Areeq Dubai, Jewellery Collections Dubai and Jewellery Trade Dubai.

Areeq Dubai is the high-end show, showcasing prestigious watch and jewelry brands, while Jewellery Collections Dubai is a jewelry show with a strong emphasis on timepieces. Jewellery Trade Dubai is a business-to-business trade fair, the only one of its kind in the Middle-East.

Organizers expect some 15,000 visitors during the event’s five days. More than 520 companies from 30 countries are exhibiting at the shows, some of them at more than one.
