ADB’s Goris Stepping Down
February 05, 09Antwerp Diamond Bank’s CEO and Chairman of the Executive Committee Paul C. Goris announced his retirement. Goris will be succeeded by Managing Director Pierre De Bosscher in April.
Goris’ banking career spanned 34 years, 15 of them heading ADB, the world’s second largest diamond financing bank.
ADB was formed in 1934 as the ‘Comptoir Diamantaire Anversois’, to finance and serve the Belgian diamond industry. In 1937, the Comptoir became a acquired a bank status and became Antwerp Diamond Bank NV.
