Couture Gold Rose Win for Harari
June 03, 09Israeli jeweler Yossi Harari won first place in the "Haut Couture" category at the Couture Las Vegas 2009 Show. The winning ring, named "The Wild Rose," is handcrafted out of 24 karat gold and "gilver," a combination combining 25 percent gold and 75 percent silver alloy, giving a signature black, oxidized hue.
The ring contains a total of more than 120 carats of gems. In addition to a large, 97.25 carat fire opal, the piece is set with sapphires, emeralds, and cognac diamonds.
