GemEx Now Available In New York's Diamond District

GemEx Systems, Inc., a company specializing in the measurement of light performance in diamonds, will start offering their services of their proprietary BrillianceScope Analyzer in Manhattan's diamond district.

The service gives customers the ability to make an appointment to have their stones examined. During testing, five different light measurements are taken to asses a given diamond for its "fire," or brilliance. A GemEx certificate is then issued detailing the results.

“This new diamond scanning service in New York City provides an opportunity for a wider range of jewelry manufacturers and retailers to assess their stones using the proven GemEx technology," said Randy Wagner, CEO of GemEX. "Now jewelers in one of the most important diamond districts in the country will be able to process a Light Performance Certificate for their diamonds regardless of the number of diamonds they are certifying. Improving access to these important marketing tools will help dealers and retailers increase diamond sales and margins.”

A formal announcement will be made on October 14th at the Diamond Manufacturers and Importers Association of America (DMIA) monthly New York chapter meeting.  DMIA members will receive a discounted rate on all GemEx evaluations.
