Dave Lapa to Sue Former Employees, Gembrooke

Dave Lapa, owner of Overseas Diamonds NV, plans to take legal action against former employees that formed a new company. 

Overseas Diamonds filed a bankruptcy petition in October. Almost immediately afterwards Joseph Srodawa, former managing director of Overseas Diamond Inc, announced the formation of Gembrooke. According to Lapa, Gembrooke “stole my business model, stole my clients, everything.”

Lapa emphasized that he has nothing to do with Gembrooke. He stressed that “legal action will be taken against the new company, which was formed on the ruins of Overseas Diamonds.”
