Centurion 2010 Reports 14% Attendance Spike and Dramatic Buying Increase

The 9th Centurion Show saw its sold-out collection floor busy quite busy throughout show’s three days earlier this month in
Centurion reported that store attendance surged by 14 percent to 206 retail operations, despite the show being more selective with its retailer invitations. Additionally, Centurion reported that the most retailers and exhibitors were back to full-year planning and restocking missions that led to a dramatic increase in buying.
On the final morning of the 2010, Centurion’s exhibitors elected two new members to the company’s board of managers. Mindy Fielman, vice president of Hearts on Fire (and a former manager of the Couture show) and Myriam Gumuchian, owner of Gumuchian, were elected to two-year terms.
Centurion’s 10th Anniversary Show will take place January 31-February 1, 2011.
