According to Gassman, today's bride doesn't want the traditional solitaire diamond ring. Jewelers, therefore, will need to have a large inventory and each piece will need to be unique.
“Because today's young bride wants ‘something different,’ jewelers will have to offer it to her, or she's going to shop someplace where she can find ‘different,’” Gassman said.
In his presentation, Gassman plans to disuses what ‘different’ means and who is the bride that is looking for it. Along with Mel Anda, founder of Unique Settings and several other panelists, Gassman will help jewelers understand how to meet the needs of today's bridal couple while managing inventory and cash flow needed to support the necessary bridal inventory levels in a store.
The “Managing Your Inventory While Maximizing Your Bridal Opportunity” panel discussion will be held on Saturday June 5, 7:30am – 9:30am at the Marcello Ballroom, Level 4, Venetian. It is open to all JCK badge holders. Breakfast will be served. Please arrive early for guaranteed seating.
