3.03 Ct, D/IF Cushion Cut Diamond Sold for $26,600 p/c at Sotheby's

The top selling item at Sotheby's Australia Monday Jewels sale was a 3.03 carat D / IF cushion cut diamond pendent that sold for A$86,400 (US$80,637). The realized price, US$26,612.87 per carat, was at the lower end of the pre-auction estimate.

 

Last night’s sale totaled A$950,520 ($887,120), selling 74 of the offered lots.

 

Other highlights of the evening were a Patek Philippe ‘Twenty-4’ wristwatch which more than doubled the high estimate of A$5,000 to sell for A$12,600 (US$11,7600), a pair of emerald and diamond pendant earrings sold for A$19,200 (US$17,920) and a De Grisogono ‘Instrumentino’ Wristwatch realized A$31,200 (US$29,119).
