A Charming Gift in Neiman Marcus Fantasy Catalogue

(IDEX Online News) - Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the “His and Her Fantasy Catalogue,” Neiman Marcus will sell a one-of-a-kind charm bracelet priced at $248,000 this holiday season.

The bracelet celebrates Neiman Marcus with 11 charms in an array of hues. Each charm’s center holds a marquise-cut natural fancy pink, blue or orange diamond surrounded by micro-pave settings and 18k yellow gold.

The charms commemorate the extravagant His & Hers gifts over the years, including an airplane, a hot air balloon, a camel, a robot and a windmill.

Fifty years ago, Stanley Marcus started the “His & Her” tradition at Neiman Marcus. A last minute gift of a Black Angus bull accompanied by a sterling silver barbecue cart was added to the Christmas catalogue when a radio producer asked if there was anything exciting in the upcoming catalogue. 

Other items in this year’s catalogue are 100 Camaro convertibles (which sold-out in three minutes), a limited edition of just 50 Leica M9 cameras, an edible gingerbread playhouse and Danny Ferrington ukulele.
